Harry Brown

Harry is a Cyber Security Consultant with a passion for enabling business through the management of cyber risk. Harry has a strong technological background and finds his niche in deriving cost effective cyber security solutions primarily supported by long-term strategic projects and security architecture.

Harry was heavily involved in the uplift of a major Australian financial technology firm’s security operations via large scale implementation of Splunk Cloud, process development, aligning alerting to MITRE ATT&CK, and reporting to senior management. 

Harry has provided security assurance and strategic advisory support to the NSW Government, including review and attestation against the NSW Cyber Security Policy Mandatory Requirements framework. Harry also provides remediation guidance on integrating governance, risk and compliance capabilities with cyber security operations.

Harry is deeply interested in how people contribute to a successful cyber security program, especially how education affects the output of those programs. He participated in the Security Consultant Insight Series discussing emerging trends in the cyber security space on a panel of industry professionals.

In his spare time, Harry likes to run, swim, snowboard, and read.
